Metcash Supermarkets and Convenience, and Australian Liquor Marketers, both provide electronic product files (commonly called ‘Host Support’) that can be imported into your Point of Sale System saving you the time and effort of manual data entry

Host Support

Retailers using one of our accredited Point of Sale Systems can utilise our Host Support electronic catalogue system – a file is generated each week in readiness for downloading. The host file contains details of;

  • New and deleted lines
  • Pack size, bar code and product description changes
  • Cost and suggested sell price changes, and
  • Weekly, fortnightly and monthly promotions as generated by your banner channel promotions team.

Electronic Invoicing

Metcash Supermarkets and Convenience, and Australian Liquor Marketers, also produce invoice files that can be downloaded to your Point of Sale System. This invoice file matches the hard copy invoice that corresponds with your delivery. Once the invoice is processed into your back office system, the invoice is matched to the order and stock levels are automatically updated, thereby reducing time and cost of manual data entry.
